Executive - Purchase for MNC Chemical in Ahmedabad

Desired Qualification: The candidates must be Graduate in Material Management/BE

Chemical.

Desired Candidate profile:

Should have experience in a Chemical Manufacture unit.

Should be graduate with qualification in Materials Management/ Supply Chain Management.

Must have experience of SAP

Job Description:

Purchase/ Procurement of indirect materials, CAPEX, OPEX .

Sourcing the lab chemicals, solvents, lab ware, office commodities

Getting quotations, making comparisons and processing orders based on the approvals.

Follow up with the supplier/transporter for the deliveries.

Coordinate with the respective departments like Plant/Stores/Finance for smooth transactions.

Maintain monthly/quarterly MIS for the Ordering status.

Prepare various reports in Excel/PPT for better presentation of the data to Management.

Managing and controlling all the company’s external suppliers with particular emphasis on

the purchase.

Responsible for cost effective and timely capital purchase.

Purchase Planning and Control matching with the Production Planning.

Identification and new vendor development.

To send enquiry to the vendors as per requirement.

Expedite quotations from the vendors.

Proper documentation record keeping of purchase orders and related documents.
