Job Description

Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, components, and services

required in the forging process.

 Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure competitive

rates while maintaining quality.

 Place orders for required materials and ensure timely delivery to meet

production schedules.

 Monitor material stock levels and reorder materials as required to prevent

shortages.

 Analyze material usage trends and implement cost-saving measures.

 Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance based on quality,

delivery time, and price.

 Ensure that all purchased materials meet the required specifications and

quality standards.

 Continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs without

compromising on quality or production timelines.

 Maintain and track purchase orders, invoices, and budget forecasts to ensure

cost control and efficiency.

 Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize excess

stock.

 Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely procurement of

materials and tools.

 Evaluate alternative materials or suppliers to improve production efficiency

and cost-effectiveness.

 Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, supplier agreements,

inventory reports, and related documentation.

 Work proactively to mitigate risks and ensure smooth procurement
