We are looking for talented graduates in Engineering Majors from high ranked universities in India to conduct sourcing for purchasing products from overseas manufacturers. The applicants will be employed on full time basis and will work in India on a remote basis under the supervision of the representative of the employer.

Job Location: Inside India, Online

Job Type: Full Time

Job Purpose: To review technical requirements and prepare proposal documents.

Majority of time spent: Sourcing/ communication with vendors

Job responsibilities:

1. Review technical requirements to address equipment, features and accessories required for the pricing.

2. Projects may range from large industrial equipment to laboratory consumable material.

3. Interpret technical requirements to determine equipment and supplies requirements

4. Sourcing of reliable vendors for the requested goods/services

5. Contact and negotiate selected vendors to have the best combination of technical/price offer.

6. Determination of areas for exception or clarification needed for proposal.

7. Investigate alternates for a more competitive offering.

8. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers based on their products, services, and prices

9. Gather detailed documents to support and address all requirements listed in technical requirements

As the sourcing activities involve communications in writing and speaking to overseas vendors, it is required that the applicants can demonstrate high level of English proficiency as well as :

• Strong sourcing capability with experience across various Procurement Categories.

• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

• Analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Solid technical skills as well as a commercial insight/interest.
