Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of study abroad counsellors.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss caseloads, challenges, and best practices.
- Monitor counsellor performance, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate
professional development opportunities.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to assist students in exploring
study abroad options.
- Review and evaluate student academic records, career goals, and personal
aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
- Offer guidance on application procedures, visa requirements, and financial
considerations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and opportunities in international education.
- Liaise with admissions offices of partner institutions to facilitate the seamless
admission process for students applying to study abroad programs.
- Ensure all counselling activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and
compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including academic transcripts,
application materials, and relevant communications.
- Generate regular reports on counselling activities, student outcomes, and program
effectiveness.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance
counselling services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in study abroad counselling.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of international education trends, visa regulations, and
admission requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
