The roles and responsibilities of selected professionals include the following:

• Assist in implementing the Non-Pesticide Management (NPM) Agriculture Programme of SPS;

• Establish ways of improving the participation of small and marginal farmers in agricultural markets so that they get a fair deal in these markets;

• Work closely with women farmers and help build strong and vibrant people’s institutions, led by women;

• Engage with rural communities and co-ordinate work of the village community, the PRIs and government agencies;

• Assist in the development of training material to be used in the empowerment programme of the Baba Amte Center for People’s Empowerment.

Location : Dewas/Khargaon, MP

The professionals should hard-working and adaptable to field situations, be able to think creatively while solving technical problems and while handling a team of professionals with diverse skills and qualifications. We are seeking passionate grassroots professionals who can commit to work in these programmes for a minimum of two years.
