Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Production Planning :

• To receive customer schedule and prepare sales plan.

• Consider lead time & available stock. Calculate material, machine capacity & manpower requirement to prepare monthly sales plan.

• Generate MRP and conversion of orders into quantity.

• Divide monthly production plan in to weekly plan & conduct meeting to release the same.

Execution of Plan & Costing:

• Coordinate with other department heads to ensure the weekly plans are achieved as per target.

• Check execution of production plan daily and if required revise the plan for better control.

• Work on the production cost and take necessary steps to improve the efficiency & control the production/labour cost.

• Provide guidelines to department’s heads to ensure smooth production & dispatch.

• Identify critical items in terms of production and ensure the production targets are achieved.

• Conduct periodical sales plan review and take necessary steps for implementation.

Customer Management:

• Maintain update communication with customers and provide appropriate solutions.

• Understand customer grievances and provide appropriate solutions to the satisfaction.

• Improve customer centric culture/awareness among employees.

Invoicing, Dispatch & Reporting:

• Ensure dispatch of material as per schedule. Generate & send invoices to customers.

• Review the dispatch schedule and make changes if required.

• Maintain production, dispatch & other data to provide reports to Management as and when required.

Continual Improvement:

• Design & implement best practices for continual improvement in terms of production, material & resources planning.

• Identify automation needs to improve production & efficiency & reduce cost/wastages.

People Management & Self Development:

• Set goals for individual development. Take efforts to improve knowledge & skills to improve performance.

• Identify, train and develop employees to improve departmental performance.
