Production Planning Manager

Role Objective:

To oversee and optimize production planning, inventory management, procurement, and distribution processes to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely delivery of agrochemical products.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

1. Develop and implement production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.

2. Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure optimal utilization of production capacity.

3. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.

4. Address production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.

Supply Chain Management:

1. Manage end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.

2. Source and maintain relationships with suppliers for raw materials and packaging.

3. Optimize inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

4. Oversee the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Demand and Inventory Management:

1. Analyze sales trends and market data to forecast demand accurately.

2. Develop strategies to minimize inventory carrying costs while meeting market requirements.

3. Implement inventory control measures to ensure safety and compliance with agrochemical regulations.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

1. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

2. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain operations with business goals.

Compliance and Reporting:

1. Ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards in the agrochemical industry.

2. Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, cost analysis, and process improvements.

3. Monitor and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions.
