Job Description

Responsibilities:

Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.

Set up machines for production runs, including loading raw materials, adjusting settings, and performing test runs.

Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and minimize waste.

Troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment, including identifying causes of malfunctions and making minor repairs or adjustments.

Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues as they arise.

Keep accurate records of production data, including output quantities, downtime, and quality control checks.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area, including cleaning machines, removing debris, and disposing of waste properly

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Production Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred but not required.

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as production schedules, work instructions, and safety manuals.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights weekends, and overtime as needed.

Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
