Department Production
Roles and Responsibilities Production :
• Prepare a production plan in coordination with the Sales and design team
• Coordinate with the Purchase team on raw materials. Guiding Purchase department for scheduling as the production plan
• Prepare process flow, and work instructions and continuously update the Sales, Design, and Management on the progress of the project
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan and review of drawings and specifications for any queries and clarifications essential for production
• Ensure production targets are met within the constraints of the budget and optimum production is achieved
• Ensure that the installations manufactured are of consistent quality
• Highlight technical issues and recommend probable solutions to the Sales, design and Management
• Analyze root cause for the rejections and the rework, customer feedback and ensure the systems are in place to prevent the reoccurrence
• Measure the cycle time and reduce the same to improve production
• Device maintenance plan for the shop floor
• Analyze the requirement of new machinery to increase productivity/ new product line and accordingly present the case to Management for approval and purchase
Team Management
• Train the production team adequately on the quality system, understanding of the design drawings, work instructions and quality checkpoints
• To maintain shop floor discipline and housekeeping
• Motivate shop floor team and instill teamwork
• Train the team on quality and ensure that production downtime is reduced and process capability is improved. Develop the production team to be multi-skilled
• Periodically generating performance reports of a team & provide necessary feedback/mentoring/ assistance to upscale overall team performance
• Team Welfare - Grievance, Communication, Motivation & Attrition Management
Salary 40,000 to 50,000
Experience More than 15 years in the furniture industry.
