PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE IN-CHARGE
This position shall be responsible for the technical management, supervision, and control of the production processes and maintenance of machinery.
PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Production planning according to sales projections inputs provided by the Owners.
2. Man-power planning, how much manpower is required for Production.
3. Managing the resources for the production activities.
4. Production of products as per quality and quantity.
5. Supervising the production activities and ensuring that all activities are carried out as laid down in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
6. Co-ordinating with purchase and stores for ., .,. and .; and stock statement
7. Responsible for preparing specifications, test methods, SOPs
8. Responsible for all production and tallying of STOCK.
9. Train manpower and supervise them.
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Understand all the machines in the company and gain knowledge of their functioning.
2. Prepare preventive and break-down maintenance schedules and timetables.
3. Ensures that the equipment and machines are maintained properly and working properly.
4. Oversees the facilities maintenance program; identifies and analyses equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.
5. Provides technical training to management and other team members.
6. Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REPORTS
1. Prepare various registers for Production quantities.
2. Prepare batch-wise, daily, weekly, and monthly reports for production.
3. Stock Tally Reports.
JOB SPECIFICATION
1. ITI, Graduate or Post Graduate in MAINTENANCE & PRODUCTION.
2. Production or Mechanical Engineering Degree
3. Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
4. Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
5. At-least 3 years of handing Production and Maintenance in a Food Company.
