Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production processes and ensure the timely delivery of products to our customers. The Production Manager will work in the sheet metal industry and be responsible for managing the production team, which includes two work managers.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production schedules based on customer demand and sales orders, while ensuring 100% on-time delivery of products

Oversee the entire production process, which includes punching, bending, sub-assembly, coating, and final assembly

Focus on productivity improvement and automation initiatives to increase output while maintaining quality standards

Set and enforce quality goals and standards, and ensure adherence to these standards throughout the production process

Utilize CRM software to track customer orders, ensure accurate information is communicated to the team, and maintain excellent customer relationships

Train, manage and motivate the production team, encouraging high levels of engagement and productivity

Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members and provide ongoing feedback and coaching

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and ensure smooth operation of the production facility

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

Minimum of 5 TO 7 years of experience in sheet metal production AND 10- 15 YEARS for a diploma holder, with at least 2 years in a management role

Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Proficient in the use of CRM software

Demonstrated ability to manage a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement
