B E or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Plastics Moulding technology.

Experience MUST

Role definition Assisting Immediate Superior in Discharge of Responsibility towards smooth running of all assembly & production activities

Responsibility and duties

Providing Assistance to immediate Superior in ensuring the machine are running as per Production planning.

Assisting Immediate Superior in daily reviews of the shift and sort out the problems if any

Assisting Immediate Superior in execution of development works of new products as and when instructed by DH (Production)

To follow the QMS and ensure that it is implemented in every production activity

Responsible for providing on the job training to new operators

Providing Assistance in eliminating/reducing wastage in the chain of the processes

Assisting Immediate Superior in Disposition of non-conforming products.

Assistance in Organizing material from stores

Schedule and regular order related activities

Assisting Immediate Superior in Control of tools and rectification.

Providing assistance and support in Setting up of machine for new batch

Ensuring implementation of safety practices at shop floor & 5S practices at shop floor

Technical competencies Abreast with latest/emerging trends in automation pertaining to auto component industru

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes in engine assembly, press line, weld line, paint line, final assembly etc.

Ability to map business requirements into production specifications such as daily volumes in conjunction with production planning personnel

Ability to guide Supervisor/Workmen on product/process related query
