Responsibilities
Generate oral and written reports as necessary and to summarize production activities and projects
Provide recommendations and observations to production staff and management on results of experimentation/tasks.
Collaborate with supervisor to establish objectives, milestones, and timelines for completion
Operate at a consistent and exemplary level of efficiency, producing high quality and accurate results
Participate in periodic reviews of component labor routings, material requirements, BOM's and manufacturing procedure
Participate in new product/process transfers and validations
Maintain records and notebooks as directed in a neat, thorough and accurate manner
Qualifications
1-2 years in Chemical industry preferably
Successful candidate will possess a Bsc. Chemistry
Familiarity with operation of routine laboratory instruments and applicable software
Works well in a team based environment and independently
Solid MS Office Knowledge, Intermediate to Advanced Excel usage preferred.
Should be knowing SAP.
Requires an understanding of the basic operations and limitations of all departmental equipment, including standard wet chemical production apparatus, ovens, resistance and induction heated furnaces, filtering presses, vacuum furnaces and pumps, glove boxes, compressed gas handling equipment, sizing and blending equipment, and any other equipment for producing and manipulating inorganic materials
