Job Overview:
We are looking for a Production Chemist/Manager with a deep understanding of tablet, dry syrup, and capsule manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the production of these pharmaceutical dosage forms, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production plans and schedules to meet product demand and delivery timelines while optimizing resource utilization.
Manufacturing Oversight: Supervise and lead a team of production staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety protocols.
Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of product quality and consistency. Address any deviations or non-conformities promptly.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and ensure that manufacturing processes comply with all applicable guidelines and standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, batch records, and other documentation required for regulatory submissions and quality audits.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
