Roles and Responsibilities-
Removing and installing machine components / assist in component repairs, following procedures laid down in the appropriate service manuals and quality control.
Responsible for the well-being of his/her tool box, tooling & vehicles.
Return tooling to the tool store daily in good clean working order..
Maintains a high level of safety awareness and others around him/her.
Be able to perform all types of scheduled maintenance & PDI & assembly.
Cleans disassembled parts and makes them ready for inspection.
Ensures that all dis-assembled components are properly kept, open lines capped and plugged.
Should be able to use the tools that are required for removal and installation and for assembly and disassembly.
Uses appropriate literature's, re-usability guidelines and manuals required for jobs he/she is assigned.
He/she is responsible for proper labeling and storage of disassembled component and parts.
He/she is responsible to submit written SIMS and service reports on every repair work he/she performs.
Responsible to report to his supervisor any damages or parts lost on the jobs he is performing.
Reports unusual events and explains to his supervisor when asked.
At regular interval Parts planning, indent& OH schedule to be followed.
All the works are to be done by his hands cum supervised (work with hands).
