Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Prioritize Configurator related projects based on business strategy and working with global
business process leader & resource them suitably.
Collaborate with SBU, Engineering, Operation and Trade compliance teams to develop the
functional requirements for Configurator and details them in standard Emerson formats like
product matrix, Part Per code, Lead time, Trade Compliance etc
Provide technical leadership for overall Configurator development, issue resolution and pro-
active approach towards improvements, maintenance & support by working closely with end
users.
Drive Engineering Process using detailed approach, data driven decisions, project metrics
(Lead time, FPY, Cost etc), continuous improvement and innovation.
Provide People Leadership by attracting, developing & retaining top talents through suitable
organization structure, performance culture, open & candid communication in partnership
with HR.
You Will Need:
Bachelors Degree in any Engineering field or equivalent from reputed institutes with a
minimum of 15 yrs relevant exp
Strong technical skills needed for product Configurator development.
Outstanding engineering process skills involving NPD, DFSS, PLM etc
Strong people leadership skills hiring, development, performance & retention.
Project management skills involving scoping, prioritizing, work break down, estimation,
resourcing, scheduling, risk management etc
Experience in product configuration with major Configurator programming packages required

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience with Oracle OCD, Configit, or SAP VC preferred.
