Roles and responsibilities:
Managing the ideation process for new products and conducting market research to identify customer needs and trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to develop product concepts and specifications.
Liaison with manufacturing partners to ensure timely production and delivery of new products.
Monitor the development process, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
Work on product design, packaging, and labeling to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
Manage the testing and evaluation of prototypes and samples, making adjustments as needed.
Work on the launch of new products, including planning and executing product launches and coordinating with the sales and marketing teams to ensure successful market penetration.
Continuously evaluate the performance of existing products and suggest improvements to maintain their competitive edge in the market.
Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in product design, technology, and innovation.
Ensure the visibility of incoming inventory for key stakeholders.
Liaison with our existing manufacturing partners to ensure inventory production and delivery timelines.
Work with our design team to proofread packaging files and contribute to new design ideas.
Coordinate with the internal team with respect to the logistics of incoming inventory
Experience / skills:
1-3 years of experience in product development or a related field
Strong understanding of the product development process, including ideation, concept development, prototyping, testing, and launch.
