Sourcewiz is on a mission to digitise the supply chain of home textile, decor and furniture products and build a transparent, sustainable supply chain of the future!

To achieve our mission, our first product helps SME exporters to digitise their operations and improve their operations in order to serve international buyers better. Sourcewiz plans to bring the entire supply chain, mills, exporters, logistics, financing and buyers all on a single platform.

We have raised ~6M$ from marquee investors including Matrix Partners, Alpha Wave and Blume Ventures and have offices across UAE and India with expansion plans to the USA marked for later this year.

Our Company is led by a team of IIT Delhi graduates with experience of working with top firms such as Bessemer Venture, Zomato, Uber and Ola.

About the role

We are looking out for an experienced professional having a strong ability to take ideas, briefs and create attractive products based on the professional should feel comfortable creating prototypes and should also have an ability to follow budget constraints and demonstrate some pieces of previous works through a portfolio.

Understanding requirements of clients/ internal teams and produce sketches, designs and samples as per these requirements & briefs

Working closely with sourcing managers and other teams (sales and merchandising) to understand requirements, budgets & other guidelines

Creating product prototypes prior to creating final product

Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided

Accurately interpreting and representing ideas & briefs

Assessing and approving completed items and production standards

Using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs

Experimenting with colour, finish and material

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and developing new design
