We are hiring Product Design Engineer - Mechanisms Airvent for our MNC client.

Requirement: - Product design Engineer (5-7 years relevant exp. in Mechanisms Airvent design)

Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automotive with Above 60% academic score no backlogs or year down.

Desired profile/Job description

Ø Responsible for detail product design according to standards and guidelines.

Ø Translate defined product design performance criteria in CAD data & specifications.

Ø In depth knowledge in areas of Mechanism parts like Air vents, cupholders, armrest etc.

Ø For his perimeter, define technical solutions and CAD data (2D & 3D) using standard CAD methodology.

Ø RPS, Concept design, Master sections

Ø Tolerance stack, GD&T (including KC for internal and customer needs)

Ø To be able to manage the internal team along with Cross functional communication.

Ø Conduct weekly design reviews with team and management

Ø Maintain team level Open Issue List and discuss with PM & customer for open points

Ø Customer constraints and specifications, CAE implementations.

Ø Applicable regulations and legislation.

Ø Ensure process feasibility of the product design and A-Surfaces

Ø Ensure overall “Product Design Performance” considering Customer specifications, regulations, and legislations.

Ø At the end of a program, make Lessons learned applicable to improve Design & support the programme post TKO till SOP+3months.

Skills and competencies

Ø Thorough /knowledge in program specific CAD software Catia & UG.

Ø Thorough experience in designing in required domain, . Automotive Mechanisms & Interiors.

Ø Good knowledge of CAD Methodology, Kinematics, and tooling knowledge.

Ø Knowledge of assigned program timing and deliverables at each milestone

Ø Knowledge of program standards, tools, and methods like Tolerance stack, DFMEA, CAE

Ø Problem solving techniques.

Ø Strategic and analytical capabilities.

Electromechanical skills will be added advantage.
