Develop and implement procurement strategies for interior projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
Source and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve optimal value.
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications, providing procurement support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and manage procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and deliveries, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier performance, facilitating effective documentation and record-keeping.
Resolve supplier/vendor issues and disputes promptly and professionally, fostering positive relationships and ensuring continuity of the supply chain.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in procurement especially Interiors and designing, logistics, or related fields preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers, team members, and clients.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing quantities and inspecting materials.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with central Bengaluru markets and suppliers is a plus.
Proficiency in basic computer applications for documentation and record-keeping.
