Job Description

EQuad Engineer Services is hiring for Ecocharm, who is professional organization having expertise in the field of pollution control and making environment friendly machinery. With the team of experienced Environmental scientists and Engineers they are committed to provide services in the field of Environmental Engineering. The below position is based in Chennai.

Job Description:

The candidate is responsible for collaborating with the designing team to determine the material or equipment requirement for uninterrupted manufacturing.

Responsible for purchasing of Technical & Non – Technical goods & services

Ability to meet different vendors and get quotations from them

Build- up Vendor Management database

Effectively negotiate with the suppliers on purchase agreement.

Should be able to maintain inventories, supervise the store and maintain related documents

Regular follow up of payments with suppliers & customers

Software Knowledge: Google Suite/ MS Office

Desirable candidate:

The candidate must have a Diploma/–Mechanical/EEE/ ECE/ BSc/

1-2 years of experience (Preferred – Exp. in purchase of technical goods)

Should be persistent with follow up

Good Negotiation skills

Excellent planning ability & effective team player

Should be willing to travel within Chennai

Candidate is expected to have a two wheeler

Knowledge In:

Purchase & Logistics process & documentation

Basic costing comparisons & bulk discounts

Understanding of Vendor expertise

LIFO-FIFO & other inventory methods

Material Availability & cost
