Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share in the printing and packaging industry.
2. Identify and prospect new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and participation in industry events.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and provide appropriate solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Lead and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support.
5. Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
6. Collaborate with internal departments, such as production, design, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of client projects and deliver exceptional service.
7. Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with customers.
8. Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to proactively identify business opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
9. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
2. Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the printing and packaging industry.
3. Strong knowledge of printing and packaging processes, materials, and trends.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving performance and achieving sales targets.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
