Job Description

As a Power BI Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable Power

BI solutions that meet the organization's reporting and analytics needs. You will work closely with business

stakeholders, data engineers, and data analysts to gather requirements, design data models, and develop

efficient data pipelines. Your expertise in Power BI will be crucial in creating visually appealing and insightful

reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics requirements.

- Design end-to-end Power BI solutions that encompass data modeling, data acquisition,

transformation, and visualization.

- Architect scalable and efficient data models to support complex reporting needs.

- Define and implement security measures to ensure data privacy and access controls.

2. Data Integration and Transformation:

- Develop data integration pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into

Power BI.

- Implement data cleansing and data quality processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.

- Optimize data transformation workflows for performance and efficiency.

- Collaborate with data engineers to streamline data acquisition and integration processes.

3. Report and Dashboard Development:

- Create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.

- Design intuitive and user-friendly navigation and interaction experiences.

- Apply best practices for data visualization and storytelling to effectively communicate insights.

- Develop complex calculations and measures using Power BI's DAX language.

4. Performance Optimization:

- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Optimize data models, queries, and visuals for improved responsiveness.

- Implement caching strategies and other performance enhancement techniques.
