Working as a Control Systems Engineer you will:
Program a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods.
Programming and configuring SCADA software packages
IP network design and configuration.
To develop software, test control systems and work on various projects.
Responsible for programming assembly lines, robotic devices using range of PLC's.
Perform In-House test and site commissioning under formal client witnessed conditions.
To be successful, we're looking for:
Minimum 6-8 years' experience in Automation field in the Automotive industry
Strong PLC / controls background ideally working the full lifecycle of a project from conceptual design all the way through to commissioning on site.
Experienced working with Siemens PLCs, S7 1200, 1500, TIA Portal, WinCC and nice to have Rockwell PLC programming experience.
Must have experience with any one Automotive Standards – Ford, Tata, Daimler etc.
Nice to have experience with E-Plan.
The ability to debug and modify code.
A Time served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification.
Previous experience working as part of a team designing, implementing and test control/integrated systems.
