JOB SUMMARY:
Plans, directs, administers and supervises activities for surgical patients. Reports to the Medical Director on matters relating to the operation of the patient care division and maintain contact with the Head of Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. *Clinical Duties*:
- Conduct patient consultations to assess and diagnose conditions.
- Perform plastic surgery procedures under the supervision of senior surgeons.
- Assist in complex surgeries and gradually take on more responsibilities as experience grows.
- Follow up with patients post-surgery to monitor recovery and address any complications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
2. *Education and Training*:
- Participate in educational activities such as seminars, workshops, and training sessions.
- Teach and mentor junior medical staff and students.
3. *Research and Development*:
- Engage in clinical research projects to advance the field of plastic surgery.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in techniques and technology.
4. *Administrative Duties*:
- Collaborate with the medical team and other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to plastic surgery.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: • - Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a residency program in plastic surgery.
- Valid medical license to practice in Kuwait.
- Board certification or eligibility in plastic surgery.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: • - Relevant clinical experience in plastic surgery, typically through residency training.
- Experience in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery is often required.
