Job Description

As the Seafood Plant Manager, you will be assisting and working closely with the Senior Plant Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful running of the processing plant. You will help maintain the success of our business by managing the complex and ever-changing daily operations of our Vancouver plant.

Collect, maintain and analyze production data

Planning production schedules involving both materials and respective labour requirements

Optimization of plant equipment and available labour in order to increase production capacity and decrease costs

Maintain quality standards while devising and implementing new processing procedures

Assisting with the logistics of all incoming and outgoing products

Recruitment and further development of plant staff

Ensuring that all safety precautions and standards are taken and adhered to

Ability to work and remain motivated within a flexible schedule
