Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Production Operations:

Oversee the daily activities of production workers and ensure that production schedules are met.

Monitor and manage the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.

2. Ensure Compliance with Safety and Regulatory Standards:

Enforce all safety regulations and ensure that the production process adheres to environmental and safety guidelines.

Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly.

3. Quality Control:

Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.

Work closely with the quality control team to address any quality issues.

4. Team Management:

Train, mentor, and supervise production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

Handle employee performance evaluations and address any disciplinary issues as necessary.

5. Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Collaborate with the production manager to optimize production processes and equipment usage.

6. Inventory and Resource Management:

Ensure that adequate raw materials are available for production and manage inventory levels.

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.

7. Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular production reports to the Production Manager.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide updates on production metrics.

Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the chemical or pesticide industry.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent understanding of production processes and equipment.

Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in chemical manufacturing.
