We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our business. As a Junior Software Developer, you will be responsible for supporting our software development team in all aspects of the development, testing, and implementation of our business software.

Responsibilities

Writing and debugging PHP code

Collaborate with Software Development team members

Troubleshoot software issues

Attend developer meetings and huddles

Follow Agile development methodologies

Develop innovative solutions

Participate in code reviews and other quality control processes

Grow and develop coding skills

Help mentor and enrich other team members’ coding skills

Required Skills

Strong desire to learn to code and improve current skillset

Analytical mindset and critical thinking

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Skills

Experience with process analysis and improvement

Familiarity with Scrum project management

Familiarity with source control principles

Experience with MVC software design patterns

Experience with Laravel PHP web application framework

Experience with any of the following languages: PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python
