Job Description:
A full-time Pharmacist who can offer counseling to patients on their medication needs and
provide accurate medication distribution services. The successful candidate will be able to
utilize the available information to track and understand each client’s medication history
and make recommendations to the Drug Delivery Department.
Responsibilities:
➢ Communicate with patients suffering from various ailments post discharge to
understand the need for medicines and accordingly explain the importance of
medication compliance
➢ To engage with patients over the call to understand need for medications
➢ Processing prescriptions and raising an indent to Drug Delivery Team for dispensing
medications at the patient’s location for online orders
➢ Collecting payments from the patients through an online payment system
➢ To make sure medicines supplied corresponds with the prescriptions
➢ To make sure there is no dispensing error
➢ To track the delivery of ordered medications
➢ To handle patient queries and providing response from pre-defined FAQs.
➢ To receive regular feedback from team managers and undergo program related
training and on the job training on a regular basis.
➢ To maintain record of drug orders against the prescription copies
➢ To maintain a record of invoices against the drug orders
➢ To maintain record of controlled substances
Skills:
➢ Clarity in communication; Ability to articulate and talk to the patient in a clear
manner without ambiguity
➢ Active Listening skills; Analyzing information; Attention to detail
➢ Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical
compounds, and medical brands
➢ Passionate about the role and have patient care as priority
➢ A natural conversationalist: should be well read and can engage patients
➢ Entering, transcribing, recording, storing or maintaining information in written or
electronic form
➢ Should be a team player and have ability to bridge the gap across all departments.
