Pega Developer
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the on-going operations and be involved in the implementation of new applications/systems built with Pega technologies
• Design, develop, test, and implement customizations to improve system capabilities by studying requirements, content needs, data usage and processes; conferring with relevant stakeholders to achieve proper design.
• Produce required SDLC artefacts, including specification documents, layouts, diagrams and manuals.
• Review and provide technical guidance for implementation and support efforts assigned to onshore and offshore resources / development
• Collaborate with partners across IT and business groups to jointly develop Business Technology Roadmap that drives application roadmap and delivers quality solutions that meet business need
Preferred Skills:
Must be conceptually strong and extensive hands-on experience in the following:
(a) Pega and above
(b) Pega RPA / RDA (Good to have)
(c) IBM DB2
(d) JavaScript / CSS
(e) Java
(f) Unix
(g) WebSphere
(h) Web development / Responsive web design
(i) Authentication models
(j) Basic networking knowledge
(k) Active Directory integration
(l) API service with 3rd party systems such as document management and e-Signature for an integrated solution
Certifications:
• CLSA – Certified Lead System Architect
• CSSA – Certified Senior System Architect
• CSA – Certified System Architect
Below skills are advantageous:
• Experience in full SDLC
• Strong logic / math / algorithmic / troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrable independence and willingness to work hard and be a team player
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good inter-personnel and communication skills
• Experience/understanding of controls in a Banking environment
• Bachelor degree in computing or relevant field
• At least 5+ years of relevant work experience
