Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform assessments and diagnoses of patients and offer appropriate treatment

Provide care in age-appropriate manner

Review and develop patient educational material

Supervise medical students assigned to the clinic for the purposes of education

Develop and uphold a program for quality assurance within the clinic

Keep scheduled hours for extended clinic availability, and maintain schedule flexibility as the clinic expands

Conducting thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development

Examining sick children and reaching an informed diagnosis

Prescribing medications and giving detailed instructions for administration
