We are seeking a Payment Collection Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting payments from our customers and ensuring that all outstanding balances are paid in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers to collect outstanding payments
Manage customer accounts and ensure that all information is up to date
Resolve any disputes related to billing or payment
Work with customers to set up payment plans or arrange alternative payment methods
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive relationship with customers
Ensure that all payment information is accurately recorded and entered into our database
Prepare and send invoices and payment reminders
Monitor accounts for delinquent payments and take appropriate actions
Provide regular reports on payment collection activities and account balances
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in payment collection or a related field
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
Familiarity with basic accounting principles and software
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult customer situations
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
