Job description

Roles and Responsibilities: The candidate will be involved in drafting patent applications, filing and prosecuting patent applications in India, US, PCT and overseas, research on patent laws, prior art searches, patent searches like invalidation searches, FTO searches, landscape studies and other patent research activities.

The job will involve working with inventors and R&D department of technology companies. The job will also involve preparing response to office actions, attending hearings, and attending to deadlines regarding patent prosecution.

The job will also involve actively working with foreign patent attorneys and conversing with them on day to day basis.

Other activities include participating in internal organizational activities, participating in conferences, exhibitions and other knowledge-based events.
