Design and develop: Create database solutions, user interfaces, and workflows

Write code: Use PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and Java to write code for applications

Optimize performance: Tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code

Troubleshoot: Fix issues with PL/SQL code and database systems

Maintain: Keep databases and applications up to date

Collaborate: Work with business analysts, project managers, and other developers

Document: Create documentation for database development processes

Implement security: Put in place data security and backup procedures
