Duties & Responsibilities:

As a part of the Oracle implementation team, the candidate will be Responsible for

supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security:

- Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout

and upgrades

- Applying patches and upgrades to latest release R12

- Cloning production to test environment

- Fine tuning, Space management, Data security, Schema management, Fault

management, Diagnostic assessment of the Oracle Databases

- Identify technical gaps in user requirements and design custom solutions to cater

the user requirement

- Technology Stack and Tools support for iAS, Forms, Reports and Discoverer

- Routine maintenance activities, system monitoring and proactive health check on a

daily basis

- Manage and Configure Oracle Database RAC environment

- Raising and follow up Service Requests through Oracle Metalink

- Design and Develop backup and recovery procedures using RMAN and other backup

tools.
