We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing eye check-ups, dispensing eyewear, and driving sales. This position reports to the Store Manager with skip-level reporting to the Areas Operations Manager.
About the Role:
As an Optometrist, you will have a unique role that extends beyond traditional eye check-ups. In addition to providing technical expertise through eye-checks, dispensing, and diagnosis, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your role will involve collaborating with the Sales Associates and Store Manager to present customers with optimal product selections, executing stocktakes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As an Optometrist, you will have a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales and providing eye care services. Your responsibilities include conducting eye check-ups, diagnosing vision issues, and recommending suitable lenses and frames. You will collaborate with Sales Associates to guide customers towards optimal product selections, achieve sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction by following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will contribute to store upkeep by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and the security of equipment. Qualifications for this role include a Diploma in Optometry or a related field, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, adaptability, willingness to learn, and multitasking capabilities. A result-oriented mindset, customer-focused approach, and proactive task ownership will be essential for success as an Optometrist in our team.
