Preparation of the Operating Room:

Ensure the operating theatre is sterile, well-equipped, and ready for surgeries.

Arrange surgical instruments, tools, and other necessary materials before the procedure.

Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment to prevent infections.

Assisting During Surgery:

Assist surgeons and nurses by providing the necessary tools and equipment during the procedure.

Monitor and maintain sterile conditions throughout the surgery.

Handle surgical instruments with care, passing them to the surgical team as needed.

Patient Preparation:

Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning them on the operating table and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Assist with applying sterile drapes and cleaning the surgical site.

Equipment Management:

Operate and maintain various medical equipment such as electrocautery devices, anesthesia machines, and surgical lights.

Troubleshoot and handle any equipment malfunction during procedures.

Post-Operative Care:

Assist in cleaning and preparing the operating room for the next surgery.

Help transfer patients to the recovery room and ensure proper care post-surgery.

Sterilization and Hygiene:

Adhere to infection control practices by sterilizing surgical tools, equipment, and the operating environment.

Ensure that the operating theater is maintained with the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
