Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support by managing the Branch Manager’s calendar, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
Prepare documents and reports, including presentations, travel arrangements, and expense tracking, ensuring efficient office operations.
Assist with customs compliance by organizing documentation, liaising with customs authorities, and staying updated on regulatory requirements.
Support resolution of customs-related issues, helping prevent delays and ensuring smooth logistics operations.
Aid in client and vendor relationship management, including communications with government agencies, port authorities, and logistics partners.
Help address client concerns and escalations, ensuring prompt follow-up and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience in the logistics industry or familiarity with customs procedures is a plus.
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
