Job Description

Responsibilities

Odoo Developer will be responsible for ensuring the development of relevant and efficient Odoo specific solutions & customizations required for Business activities of clients.

 Enterprise Resources Planning system (current platform = Odoo V14-15);

 The key responsibilities of the Odoo Developer are to:

o Ensure translation of End User requirement to a technical and functional software solutions;

o Propose, design, configure and deploy these solutions;

o Manage development project according to internal procedure and constrains

 Computerized system lifecycle

 Data integrity management

 Backup and restore management

 Business Continuity plan

 Participate to the documentation of the developed solution;

Technical skills

 Manage and develop modules for Odoo platform;

 Programming languages: Python, XML, Linux Command lines for Ubuntu Server, SQL

 Network infrastructure knowledge;

 DB management (SQL and PostgreSQL mainly) to: DB design, DB backup and restore, DB maintenance

 Having experiences with the following tools: pgAdmin & Putty (SSH communication)

Qualifications & Experience

 At least Information Technology degree

 Previous experience with Odoo platform (module development and customization of existing one) is expected

 Previous experience in the same field is necessary

Soft skills & Competencies

 Rigorous, conscientious, team player & client oriented

 Stress resistant and willing to communicate outside working hours (with US for instance)

 Flexible with good communication skills (inside and outside)

 Open to learn and to manage new challenges

 Fluency in English - Good reading, writing and speaking comprehension skills
