1. Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various machinery and instruments to increase machine up time / equipment reliability; thereby accomplishing planned production targets within budget. 2. Proactively identifying areas of obstruction / breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools. 3. Communicating regularly with internal customers to meet production oriented requirements. 4. Anchoring on-site erection & commissioning activities and ensuring completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output. 5. Installation and commissioning of the heavy equipments as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of plant & utilities. 6. Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications, cost estimates for erection & commission of the plant; reviewing & analyzing contractor's change order proposals & submittals. 7. To follow up civil work such as building maintenance and repairing work such as plumbing, flooring, painting, etc. 8. Safety induction trainings, GMP, HACCP, EMS, TQM to employees, contract employees. 9. To carry out plant safety inspection with competent person as statutory requirement of DISH and electrical inspection with Electrical Inspector. 10. To look after operation, maintenance and safety of Chilling Plant. 11. Responsible for installation of new ice cream making machines, piping and electrical work. 12. O & M of cold rooms, Ice cream freezers, Blast Freezers, etc. 13. To carry out preventive maintenance of all equipments, electrical installations, air conditioners, etc. 14. To maintain inventory of all engineering materials. 15. Responsible for techno-commercial work with valuable vendors. 16. Verification of vendors and contractors bills. 17. To assist for liaison work with governmen t authorities. 18. To train and to comply to follow safety rules and regulations.
