3. Conduct regular inspections and tests of water quality parameters, such as pH, turbidity, and chlorine levels, to ensure the integrity of the treated water. Take corrective actions as necessary to maintain water quality standards.
4. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all plant personnel. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments regularly and implement measures to mitigate hazards.
5. Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and guidelines pertaining to water treatment operations, including environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to plant operators and maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct training sessions and performance evaluations as needed.
7. Assist in the preparation and management of the departmental budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational efficiency.
8. Performing repair or General maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds & Equipments at the plant.
9. Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data.
