�� Perform the requisite nursing activities for admission, discharge, and transfer of the patient.

�� To render nursing care during physiotherapy, ambulation and rehabilitation of patients as required.

�� Administration of medications (as prescribed), injections, infusions, transfusions, an application of surgical dressing etc. to the patient

�� Render pre-operative, post-operative intensive care to the patients in the area.

�� Observing, recording and reporting of all tests, diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and vital signs . TPR and Blood pressure.

�� She will be responsible for communication with the patient��s attendants/relatives about the patient��s clinical conditions in consultation with the treating doctor whenever needed.

�� Carryout technical procedures such as Naso-gastric intubation, gastric savage and lavage, oxygen therapy, surgical dressing and irrigation, Enema, catheterization hot and cold application, suction etc.

�� To ensure proper coordination with other disciplines in case of admission, discharge, transfer, shifting to Cath Lab/OT/Critical Care Area/Wards.

�� Assist doctors in performing medical and emergency procedures.

�� To ensure that the equipment and accessories to be used on patient are checked before usage.

�� To ensure the personal property are handed over to the relative once patient get admitted.

�� To demonstrate skills in patient assessment, doctors round, medication administration, documentation and equipment handling.

�� To ensure that the privacy of patient is maintained during the entire course of treatment, procedure, investigation and during transport.

�� To ensure all the information regarding patient to patient rights, treatment information and patient safety is not compromised for each and every admitted patient.

�� To effectively interface with patients/attendants/physicians/other service users with high level of responsiveness.

�� To take nursing decisions according to the condition of the patient.
