Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in various departments, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer prescribed medications, and assist with treatments and procedures.

Maintain accurate patient records, documenting observations, interventions, and responses to treatments.

Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily activities as necessary.

Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions regarding patient treatment plans.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, providing support and education when necessary.

Ensure infection control protocols are followed to prevent the spread of diseases.

Monitor patient safety, including the use of medical equipment, and report any adverse events or complications to the supervising healthcare provider.

Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety standards set by the institution and regulatory authorities.

Maintain detailed and accurate patient charts, documenting vital signs, medications, treatments, and changes in condition.

Prepare and submit shift reports and assist in maintaining accurate records of procedures, treatments, and inventory.

Act as an advocate for patients' rights and well-being, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected.

Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during treatment and recovery processes.

Attend regular training sessions and workshops to stay updated on best practices, new treatments, and nursing techniques.

Participate in performance evaluations and receive feedback to improve patient care standards.

Qualifications:

A nursing diploma or degree from an accredited nursing school.
