Role and Responsibility of Home Care Nurses:

-Provide healthcare and comfort to patients at their residences.
-Evaluate nursing assessment prior to providing in-home care.
-Assists patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
-Helps patients care for themselves by teaching use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
-Helps family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.
-They have to ready the patients before any surgical procedure and even talk to the family about the procedures
-Evaluate and document physiological, psychological cognitive status of the patients.
-Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering in-home care to patients.
- Thinks and act promptly in emergency situations.
-Ready to work for 12 hours and 24 hours.
Qualification and skill
 Qualification- GNM,ANM, , Post , Diploma in Nursing
Key Skills
 Languages know: English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam
