Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their families. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide and coordinate patient care, including assessing patients conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Educate patients and the public about various health conditions, including disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in nursing.
Work Environment:
Hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities
May work in various settings, including emergency departments, operating rooms, and patient care units
May work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
May be required to work in high-stress situations, including emergency situations
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing (ADN or BSN)
Current RN license in the state of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effect
