Job Summary
A Nurse is a healthcare professional responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient health, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Patient Care:
o Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to identify health needs and develop individualized care plans.
o Administers medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
o Monitors patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
o Performs wound care, dressing changes, and other medical procedures.
o Provides emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Collaboration:
o Collaborates with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
o Participates in care conferences and rounds.
o Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
• Education:
o Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
o Current and valid nursing license.
• Skills:
o Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
