Senior Network Architect

We are looking for a Network architect to design and develop a computer system network for our IT firm in India. There will be about 10 computers interconnected to the system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-12 years of experience

• Strong network engineering and project delivery

• Advanced knowledge on configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, Cloud networking components

• Advanced knowledge on design and architecture of LAN, MAN, WAN and SDWAN SAN network topologies

• Advanced knowledge of routing protocols, DNS and DHCP

• EIGRP, BGP, NAT, LACP, CDP, UDLD, VPC, DNS, DHCP

• Advanced knowledge on troubleshooting networking issues across data, cloud, voice and video, storage networks

• Knowledge on network management and monitoring platforms

• Ability to support mixed data, voice, wireless and video networks

• Excellent communication skills; ability to perform under pressure and detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of a multi-site, multi-cloud network infrastructure. The individual will design, develop, and integrate new IT infrastructure, standards, processes, and services.

• Key member of the team responsible for designing and developing scalable and highly available global network architectures to meet the firm’s business needs

• Develop scripts and processes to test, deploy and validate changes across all network infrastructure as code, leveraging Ansible and other approved corporate automation and orchestration platforms

• Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions

• Develop state of the art technology appropriate to deliver stable and scalable technical solutions

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget

• Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation

• Contribute to standards and design patterns

• Deliver solutions tailored to internal business requirements
