Application Development

1. Define, design, develop and support the architecture of Head-End System product used in the Smart-Grid Solution by collaborating with technical and non-technical business stakeholders efficiently.

2. Collaborate with peer architects, Systems Engineering and Product Management and other technical and non-technical stakeholders in the current product development process

3. Create and improve software using the design patterns, refactoring and development best practices

4. Create database queries and scripts for multiple database engines (Oracle and SQL Server)

Mentor development teams around sound design and coding practices

5. Respond quickly to changes in requirements

6. Participate in Project planning and Estimation

7. Prepare the architectural document artefacts

8. Assist with testing software in a live environment

9. Execute architectural design spikes

10. Evaluate third party software products used in the solution as needed

11. Provide detailed & accurate estimates for code development efforts.

12. Conduct code, design and architectural reviews

Tech Skills Required

1. Experience with Visual Studio, C#, , MVC, .NET Core, .NET 5 , and Unit Testing Frameworks

2. Experience of different PaaS services and components of Azure & Cloud Native Development leveraging Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus etc.

3. Experience using UML modeling and diagramming tools like Enterprise Architect, MS Visio

Experience using Messaging using MSMQ, SOA using REST, SOAP RPC, HTTP, TCP IP, UDP Protocols
