Job Description

• Expert in US Mortgage lender's policies, guidelines and procedures (loan to value, debt to income, collateral review, compliance review)

Perform a detailed analysis of the loan package to determine if a potential borrower represents an appropriate level of risk.

• Review borrower's employment record, credit report, income sources Specify closing conditions if any hold relevant UW experience

• Candidates with 3+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting.

• Able to calculate all income types (. wage earner, retirement, self-employed)

• Deep knowledge in Credit Review

• Deep knowledge in Capital Review

• Concepts of Automated & Manual UW

• Extensive narratives for underwriting decisions made to be shared downstream.

• Attention to detail Has to be accurate on numbers and deliver in timely manner
