Mobile Application - Back End Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced back-end (Server and Database Administrators for mobile applications) and iOS developers who are excited about working in a small team, building a business from the ground up and taking on responsibility for the entire app development cycle from ideation to production. You will be working closely with a designer and a small engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Create technical designs, identify issues, and deliver compelling mobile solutions

Contribute to plan sprints and write stories

Support continuous improvement. Investigate alternatives, new technologies and present them for architectural review

Actively engage in every phase throughout the development life cycle

Develop high quality software and work with the QA team to ensure product meets the requirements

Own features from a technical standpoint

Accountable for delivery of projects within schedule

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Experience building native mobile applications on iOS with fluency in Swift, Objective-C, Core Foundation, UIKit, Core Data, and Cocoa

Experience using JSON and XML

Experience building video-based apps like Tik Tok

Experience with XCode, iOS10, iOS11 and version management tools (GIT, SVN)

Experience with AV Foundation Framework is a plus

Strong understanding of core CS principles, including OOA/D

Strong understanding of iOS design patterns and best practices

Advanced software engineering skills, including the ability to write cross platform code in Javascript, Python and/or C/C++
